It's important that you have peace of mind when you're buying your vintage favourites from Restyleable. After all, neither of us want the hassle of returning goods to us due to poor fit.
Standardised fits have changed over the years. A size large from the 90s is different to a size large from modern times.
That's why we provide measurements for every item so you can purchase knowing your order is going to fit you. You can find the measurements in the description of the items you're interested in.
We provide the exact measurements of the item. For topwear, for example, our measurement should be a few inches larger than your actual body measurement to get the best fit.
It's important that you check these measurements to ensure your order fits. The below guide details what measurements we provide and where we measure from.
Tops, Jumpers, Jackets
P2P (Pit to Pit) Measurements:
This measurement gives you an idea of how tight the piece will fit. Our team lay the item flat on a table and measure across the chest, armpit to armpit.
This measurement tells you how long the piece will be on you. Our team lay the item flat on a table and measure from the neck join of the sweater to the bottom hem.
Our team lay the item flat on a table and measure across the waistband, then double it to factor in the circumference.
Inner Leg / Outer Length Measurements:
This measurement tells you how long the piece will be on you. Our team measure either the crotch to the bottom of the leg for inner leg measurements, or the waistband to the bottom of the leg for outer length measurements.
